Hostel Description

Of all Bath Hotels the Wentworth is the friendliest, set in an imposing Victorian mansion built in 1887 for a wealthy merchant and his family. The hotel enjoys a peaceful location overlooking the beautiful city of Bath. Although just 15 minutes stroll from the city centre, it is a haven from the hustle and bustle. Set in almost an acre of grounds B&B guests can relax and take a quick drink on one of the garden terraces, a refreshing swim in our heated outdoor pool or enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the hotel hot tub (at an additional charge).

For guests wishing to use public transport, Bath city centre and railway station are only a few minutes away, using the excellent regular bus service.

All rooms have ensuite bathrooms (showers only), tea and coffee facilities, complimentary home-made biscuits, hair dryers, TV's and direct dial telephones. We have a number of ground floor bedrooms which are available for those with mobility problems. Situated as we are, away from the main road and the city centre you won?t be disturbed by pedestrian or traffic noise.

Please note that we do not accept bookings for one night during the weekends. If you make a booking for less than 2 nights we will cancel your reservation and you will not be refunded the deposit. Please also note that the swimming pool will be closed in bad weather or if it is out of season.
