Villa Venezia is a beautiful, small, traditional, first class hotel. It offers panoramic views as it lies directly on the seafront in the heart of the Old Venetian Harbour of Chania.
The building is more than 400 years old, built by Venetian lords and has been recently restored with respect to tradition

Villa Venezia provides to its customers:
A fully furnished apartment (suite) of two rooms that can comfortably host 2-4 persons and has a balcony with the best view of the harbour.
Two fully furnished studios that can host 2-3 persons each, sea view.
Two rooms that can host 2 persons each.
All of the above offer a private bathroom, air conditioning, color TV and a refrigerator, while the suite and the two studios offer complete kitchen equipment.

By Plane:
Our closest international airport is Chania (8 miles / 12 km) with direct flights from most European countries. Additionally, charter flights are running from and to the following cities: London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Paris, Cannes, Monaco, Vienna, Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt, Doesseldorf, Stuttgart, Stockholm, Helsinki, Amsterdam, Warsaw etc. Taxi cabs are stationed outside the airport which will take you to the town for about 18 ?.

By Sea:
Ferries run twice a day from Athens port (Piraeus) to the port of Souda which is located about 4 miles / 6 km east from Chania. Taxis wait for arrivals on the pier and charge about 8 ? to take you to Chania. Buses set of every 20 mins from the exit of the port from 6.00am to 22.40pm. Buy your tickets on the bus (1.20 ?). Prices for ferries start at 21 ? for a single ticket.

By plane
The airport of Chania is located about 10km north east of the town centre. There is a taxi rank at the airport. The taxi fare is 18 euro to the Old Venetian Harbour/Port of Chania. In the morning until 11.00am (when the harbour is open for cars) your taxi will stop at the entrance of Villa Venezia. After 11.00am your taxi will stop at the end of Halidon street, near to a small square with a fountain ("El. Venizelou"). You cross the square and walk towards to the sea. On your left along the seafront you will see the hotel. The taxi could stop at the parking near to the Naval Museum, depending on the traffic. You continue right by foot along the seafront to the Old Harbour. After you have passed the Naval Museum building you will see Villa Venezia. On the ground floor of the building there is a greek taven named "Korali". You cross the tavern and you get to the main entrance of the hotel. Ring the bell on your right.

By car
The best thing to do is to park your car in the free car park near to the Naval Museum. Then you will be 200m from the hotel and you come by foot along the seafront road.
If you approach Chania from Iraklio, Rethimno, Souda, you should drive towards the center of the town. On your right you will see a covered market with a clock and a small park. After 3 sets of traffic lights, on your right, you will see the big red inscription of a large home electrical store ("Kotsovolos", fridges, washing machines etc). After the shop take the first turning right which is Pireos street. Continue along Pireos street until you see the sea. The Naval Museum is on your right, there is free parking here. After you park the car continue right on foot along the sea front to the Old Harbour. After you have passed the Naval Museum building you will see Villa Venezia. On the ground floor of the building there is a greek taven named "Korali". You cross the tavern and you get to the main entrance of the hotel. Ring the bell on your right.

By ferry
The port of Souda is located about 6km east from Chania. There is only 1 bus for Chania every 20 minutes. This bus is signed "Souda". The bus stop is at the port exit. You buy your ticket on the bus and get off at the last stop in the center of Chania.
You continue by foot (in the direction of the bus) on the same pavement (sidewalk). The third turning on the right is called Halidon street. Turn right here to the Old Venetian Harbour/Port. At the end of the street you will see a small square with a fountain ("El. Venizelou"). You cross the square and walk towards to the sea. When you reach the sea, you will see Villa Venezia on your left.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the port of Souda to the hotel entrance, but only before 11am in the morning. After 11am the taxi will stop at the end of Halidon street near to the small square with the fountain and you continue by foot as above. The taxi could stop at the parking near to the Naval Museum, depending on the traffic. You continue right by foot along the seafront to the Old Harbour. After you have passed the Naval Museum building you will see Villa Venezia. The taxi costs up to 10 euro. On the ground floor of the building there is a greek taven named "Korali". You cross the tavern and you get to the main entrance of the hotel. Ring the bell on your right.

By bus
The central bus station is located in the centre of Chania (address 73-77 Kidonia street). Walk along Kidonia street to the centre of the town and on the left you will see a big square called 1866. Cross the square on the left hand side. At the top of the square is Halidon street. Take this street and walk along in the direction of the Old Venetian Harbour/Port. At the end of the street you will see a small square with a fountain ("El. Venizelou"). You cross the square and walk towards to the sea. On your left along the seafront you will see Villa Venezia. (From the bus station it takes 10 minutes by foot).
If you take a taxi from the bus station before 11am in the morning, it will stop at the entrance of the hotel (the taxi usually costs 4-5 euro, but this depends on your luggage). After 11am the taxi stops at the end of Chalidon street near to the small square with the fountain and you continue by foot as above. The taxi could stop at the parking near to the Naval Museum, depending on the traffic. You continue right by foot along the seafront to the Old Harbour. After you have passed the Naval Museum building you will see Villa Venezia. On the ground floor of the building there is a greek taven named "Korali". You cross the tavern and you get to the main entrance of the hotel. Ring the bell on your right.
