Small friendly non-smoking hostel located in the real downtown just three houses from the Danube river, just across the Szabadsag bridge to the Gellert bathes and the Citadel, and right next to the central market and Vaci street. We provide free internet and free real cafe in a clean, spacious and light hostel.

Vamhaz offers dorm beds, private rooms and apartments at a reasonable price in the busy downtown. From our windows you can overlook the Buda Hills, the Serbian Orthodox Church, the citadel, the green Szabadsag Bridge spanning the river Danube and the old walled city of Pest.

From the Keleti or Deli train stations take the red metro to the central station (deak tér) and change to the blue line. Take the blue metro to kalvin ter and take the Vamhaz exit. Walk down Vamhaz Korut towards the river till you reach house number 7.

From Nyugati train station or Nepliget bus station take the blue metro to Kalvin tér and take the Vamhaz exit. Walk down Vamhaz Korut towards the river till you reach house number 7.

From the Airport take the reptar bus to the last stop (kobanya kispest metro stop) and take the blue metro to Kalvin tér. Leave the metro via the Vamhaz exit. Walk down Vamhaz Korut towards the river till you reach house number 7.
