Unity hostel is your typical traveller's hostel located directly beside the most popular meeting point in Budapest; Oktogon and Liszt Ferenc Square.

That`s what our location is all about. We run a quiet and laid back hostel with extremely informative staff offering detailed information on directions, sites, cheap bars, pubs, and really cool underground clubs, all within a few minutes walk.

The Hostel also features a wide variety of inexpensive eateries, Hungarian pastry shops, and supermarkets that can be reached by taking a few steps out the door. Best of all, taxis and public transport are not necessary to reach any of the major historical sites. To experience the real Budapest you just step out the door and go with the flow...

The Hostel provides dormitories as well as private rooms on two floors. All private rooms have two double bed for the comfortable stay of two couple or friends. Each floor has bathrooms and restrooms as well for the most convenient experience. Free breakfast, bed linen, free internet access, and a fully functional kitchen are only a few examples from the long list of amenities. Our spacious and world renound Roof Terrace is the best place to relax or chat with other backpackers before you hit the road.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Our staff will take extra steps to make sure you have an unforgettable time in Budapest but please note that we are operating a quiet traveler hostel therefore PARTIES are RESTRICTED in our facilities. We are in the most intense party central of the city so best bars and cheapest pubs are on our doorstep where you can enjoy your time without restraint.

Unity hostel has a central location so there are several options to reach us either by foot or public transport. The tram line closest to our hostel is Europe's Most Frequent tram system, running every 30 seconds during peak hours. Below are the best options FROM:

Keleti Train Station:
Take the underground Metro one stop till 'Blaha Lujza ter', change to tram number 4 or 6 (every 4 minutes) towards 'Moszkva ter'. Travel two stops until 'Király utca'. Get off and pass 'Pizza Hut' on the corner, we are in building number 60 on the right side (opposite side of Pizza Hut) of 'Kiraly utca'.

Nyugati Train Station:
Take tram number 4 or 6 (every 4 minutes) from in front of the station towards 'Fehervari ut' / 'Moricz Zsigmond'. Travel two stops until ?Király utca?. Get off and pass 'Pizza Hut' on the corner, we are in building number 60 on the right side (opposite Pizza Hut) of 'Kiraly utca'.

From the Airport:
Take the airport bus (AIRPORT BUSZ #200) to last stop
'Kôbánya-Kispest' metro station, from there take the underground metro until the main station 'Deák tér'. Coming up from underground go towards 'Karoly krt' and walk onto 'Király utca', we are on your left only 10 minutes walk, directly before 'Liszt Ferenc tér'.

The International bus station:
Take the underground Metro until 'Deák tér'. Coming up from underground go towards 'Karoly krt' and walk onto 'Király utca', we are on your left only 10 minutes walk, directly before 'Liszt Ferenc tér'.
