Hostel Description
The eerie pinnacles of the Quiraing, the famous Old Man of Storr, and the magical fairy Glen are not far from Uig. Locally, you can hire bikes and canoes or try pony trekking. Get away from the tourist hoards, our relaxed and friendly hostel is an ideal base for exploring the wild north of the Island.

Hostel Directions
By Bus:
All buses will stop at the hostel. Tell the driver ?Uig Youth Hostel?
By Train:
Nearest stations are Kyle of Lochalsh or Mallaig. From there take bus connections to the hostel.
By Car:
The hostel is 20 minutes north of Portree on the right as you come into Uig Bay.
On Foot:
Walk 2 km from the ferry terminal, the hostel is visible from the bay. Follow the road heading to Portree.
By Ferry:
Ferries from Lochmaddy and Tarbert on the Outer Hebrides.
