The Walkers Hostel

On the edge of the Lake District, the Walkers Hostel has 30 beds with between 2 and 7 beds to a room with two family rooms. Self service breakfast available from 7am There is a no smoking policy in the house, a cycle lock up, a drying room and an open fire. Ulverston is an old market town with loads of good pubs. The Cumbrian Way starts at Ulverston and on Thursdays and Saturday there is a colourful street market. The lighthouse on Hoad HIll is a famous landmark and the hostel is ideally suited for either long or short walks. We are also happy to help get the most from your stay having been bron in the hostel some years ago.

From M6 Jcn 36 take the A590 25 miles later On the edge of Ulverston turn first left at the frst roundabout and we are based on the right hand side. 10 minute walk from train and bus station
