Hostel Description
The Ritz was built in 2001 - the building was previously the Ritz Cinema hence the name!
The Lonely Planet Guide 2006- As budget haunts go, this central place really is 'The Ritz'.
It boasts the independence of an IHO hostel with the privacy and comfort of a hotel.
Top features include an enormous modern kitchen, colorful en-suite rooms with TV and cozy common areas. A light breakfast is included. It's a good family choice"
The hostel is situated in the centre of the beautiful harbor town of Killybegs adjacent to shops, pubs and restaurants.
The bedrooms vary in layout - some doubles, triples, 4 bed dorms and large family rooms.
Some rooms have bath and shower, some with shower only. If you come to Killybegs to avail of the excellent hill walking or mountain climbing it is advisable to book a room with bath to recuperate!
The kitchen is large and very well equipped for large groups and families.
Follow through from the kitchen to the dining room and into the very comfortable lounge / meeting room.
Reception opens out onto a seated patio area which is very popular for meeting with other guests.
A small coin operated laundry for guest use only is available.

Traveling from Donegal to Killybegs as you come in to town turn right for town centre and then first right up the Chapel Brae (Ulster Bank on corner) we are on the left on hill.
Coming from Kilcar along the shore road turn left after the Tara Hotel then first right (Ulster Bank on corner) we are on the left on the hill, parking on right and left.
