The award winning Hatters Hostel is Manchester's newest hostel in the heart of the city centre. We are close to all the live music venues including the MEN and Academy and only a 5 minute walk from the Piccadilly train station which will take you to the airport in 15 minutes.
Clean and secure we will provide all that you need to enjoy this exciting city!
The live music is everywhere and every night in Manchester and we are in the middle of it. We'll even give you a map and point you in the direction of your heroes' stomping grounds.
Experience the ?vibe? that is Manchester by hanging out in our lounge or in any of the neighbourhood haunts which are legend in this part of the world.

We provide tea, coffee and toast 24 hours a day for your eating pleasure:-D.
Secure card system
Ensures that only guests of a bedroom have access to that room. All guests are given a key card on arrival ? a refundable deposit of £1 applies to each card.
Left luggage
We provide a free secure baggage room available 24 hours.
Safekeeping
We can provide safekeeping for your valuables at reception at no charge.
24/7 Access
The hostel is open all day every day and our reception desk is staffed day and night. We do not have a curfew nor do we have any lockout during the day.
Self catering kitchen
Our kitchen is available for you to prepare yourself for the night of partying ahead.
Bed linen
All bed linen is included in the price of your bed. Towels are available to hire during your stay.
Internet access
The hostel will later this year have the most modern and coolest internet café in Manchester, providing broadband access at the cheapest rates in town. Right now though you can still get online at our reception desk.
Laundry
Until we get our own laundromat operational later this year we have a 24 hour laundry service - dont wait around for it - let us do it!
Bike storage
We have a secure bicycle lock up in the hostel yard.
Travel information/travel desk
We provide all the information that you require to get the most out of your visit to Manchester. Our fully qualified and most knowledgeable reception staff will also forward book accommodation for you or tours of the city and local countryside.

** Please note that 4/6 share rooms, and 8/10 share rooms are of equal value and are interchangable **
** Groups of 6 people or more may be contacted prior to arrival and are required to pay the balance of their booking and a security deposit **

Hostel Directions
Directions
From Manchester Airport take the train to Manchester Piccadilly. The trains leave the airport frequently and the journey takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
From Piccadilly railway station, walk down the station approach onto Piccadilly. After the Piccadilly Tavern turn right onto Newton Street. The hostel is situated 50 metres on the right at number 50 on the corner of Hilton Street and Newton Street.
From the coach station turn right at Portland Street. Newton Street is a continuation of Portland Street. The Hatters hostel is 50 metres on the right at number 50.
