Strawberry Youth Hostel provides you excellent accommodation for a reasonable price in the heart of Mozarts hometown. Our friendly and helpful staff is always at your disposal.

The Strawberry Youth Hostel Salzburg lies close to the Old Town and it takes only 10 minutes to get to the Downtown. The building lies right next to the river Salzach, in a wonderful location. A separate road for travelers on bicycle and on foot takes visitors to the Downtown along the river bank of Salzach. Guests can also rent a bike in our hostel.

We offer rooms for 1, 2, 3 and 4 people, in each room there is a toilet and a shower. NO BUNK BEDS!!! You can also have breakfast in the restaurant of our hostel. Tickets for sightseeing tours (Sound of Music, Bavarian Mountains, Salt Mines) are available at the reception.

If you arrive later than your expected arrival-time please contact us that we keep the room reserved for you!!!
If you don’t give us an arrival-time and no call or mail, we are allowed to cancel your booking after 4 p.m.!!!

The hostel is only a 10-minute walk from the train station. From Rainerstrasse turn right to Saint Julien Strasse, cross the river and once you are on the other side of the river turn left to Franz Jozef Kai. At the second street you will find our beautiful building at the corner.
