Hostel Description
Welcome to the "STF Fridhemsplan," here we have 155 rooms, divided into singles, doubles, triples, quads, and handicap rooms.
All rooms have hotel beds, (no bunk beds!) and sleeping bags are not allowed.
Every room also has free cable TV and free internet connection, and if you don't bring your own computer, we do have free internet computers available in the lobby.
If you want a parking space, it is recommended that you contact us in advance, via e-mail or telephone, to add a garage space to your booking.
Directions from Central station:
Take the metro north, blue line or green line, and get off at Fridhemsplan. Choose the exit labeled Drottningholmsvägen and go left once you get out of the station building. At the first crossing, turn right and and you are on St Eriksgatan. You should see the hostel on the left side after about 30 meters.

Hostelling International is a non-profit membership based organization, promoting peace through hostelling since 1909. Non-members will be asked to pay a SEK50 non-membership fee per night upon check-in. Check-in time is 15:00 p.m. ? 18:00 p.m. check-out is 11:00 a.m.

Public transportation
The subway stop Fridhemsplan (2 stations from the Central Station) is situated on 100m from the hostel. Exit the subway to Drottningholmsvägen. You can also reach us by bus numbers 1, 3, 40 or 62 which also stop around the hostel at Fridhemsplan. The closest bus-stop is Kronobergsgatan.
Train
The Central Station is a 20 minute walk away.
By Car From The South
Drive on the E4/E20. Follow the signs towards Fridhemsplan. Get of E4/20 towards Fridhemsplan and keep driving straight forward to the second traffic lights. Now turn right on to St Eriksgatan and you will see the hostel on your left, in the St Eriksgatan/Hantverkargatan crossing.
By Car From The North
Drive on the E4/E20. Follow the signs towards Norrtull. When you have passed under a small railway bridge, turn right. By the next traffic lights, turn left. Now you should be at St Eriksgatan. Follow it until you come to number 20, in the St Eriksgatan/Hantverkargatan crossing.
Airport
Arlanda airport is the closest airport and is situated 40 km, about a 35 minute drive, from Stockholm City. The easiest way to get there is by taxi (about 435 SEK). From the Central Station you can catch the airport bus every 10 minutes (65 SEK) or the Arlanda Express train every 15 minutes (120 SEK).
