Hostel Description
Hostel Star is in the very heart of Belgrade, in Cara Urosa 6 on the first floor. You couldn't get any closer to the action; it's just a few meters away from the pedestrian street and just across the city fortress which is lined with great cafes, restaurants and shops.
Near our hostel you'll find ATM's and we are in walking distance to the best clubs Belgrade has to offer - if you like to go out, the nightlife in Belgrade is not to be missed!!!
We have everything from funky cocktail bars and traditional beer houses to up-beat jazz clubs and amazing underground dance clubs catering to all tastes of dance music - the locals are extremely friendly and love to party and will make you feel very welcome (and are just a little crazy!!)

Hostel Directions
If you've arrived at the bus station or rail station:
By foot:
- Follow Karadjordjeva Street up to the fortress (Kalemegdan), then uphill turn to the right. Take the first left, following the hill alongside the fortress.
- Take the third right into Uzun Mirkova, then first left onto Cara Urosa, we are No.6 (it will take you 15minutes).
- Use the speakerphone labelled Star hostel, we are on the first floor.
By tram:
- From the train station you need to go 50 meters to the left, or just infront of the international bus stop where the tram station is.
- You can catch tram numbers 2, 11, 13 (tickets available from the driver; 35 dinars) take the third stop, next to the Uzun Mirkova Street (ride lasts 5 minutes).
- We are at the corner of Uzun Mirkova Street and Cara Urosa Street but the entrance is from Cara Urosa - No.6.
- There is a speakerphone labelled Star hostel we are on the first floor.
From the airport:
- Take the 'Lasta' bus (the blue one; 180 dinars) up to the last stop - Slavija square. From here go straight ahead following Srpskih Vladara Street and Terazije Street all the way to the fortress (Kalemegdan), and the street you need is parallel with the main pedestrian street on the right.
Taxi ride from the bus/railway and bus station will cost you 2.5 - 3 euros tops (approximately 200 - 250 dinars).
From the airport it should cost around 8 - 9 euros (approximately 700 - 800 dinars).
