You'll find the St Christopher's Backpacker's Hostel tucked away in the culturally vibrant and historic Berlin-Mitte. Berlin is one of Europe's most dynamic capitals and you can enjoy every delight on offer from your backpacker base at St Christopher's.

There are 160 beds which mean 160 fun people to chill out, get drunk and party with. On top of that bundle of fun there's also the fun individuals who we like to call staff, some rather large projection screens showing all the best world sports, a pool table, foosball table, internet terminals and a balcony overlooking the infamous Volksbuhne Theatre.

This St. Christopher's Inn is also the starting point for the highly informative and totally free Sandeman's Walking Tour. This is the brain child of a very well connected young man who knows Berlin like the back of his hand.

Guests under the age of 18 years of age must stay in a private room with guardians they can not share in general dormitory rooms with persons that are not part of their own group or family. Under 18s are not allowed the bars or pubs.

Direction to St. Christopher?s Berlin Youth Hostel

Public transportation in Berlin is a safe, easy and reliable way to get around. For all stops inside the city limits you need a AB zone ticket, which will be valid for all buses, subways, S-Bahn trains and Trams (streetcars). A single journey is ?2.10, while a day pass is only ?5.80.

(1) From Hauptbahnhof (Central Station)

BUS:
? Leaving from ?Europaplatz? in front of the north entrance of the Main Station, take Bus 240 (S Storkower Strasse) directly to the St. Christopher?s.
? Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
? From here you?ll need to walk down Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse about 30m, you?ll find us on the right hand side of the street.
? Note that late at night the bus runs infrequently

TRAIN:
? You?ll need the S-Bahn line, marked by a WHITE S in a GREEN circle.
? Get on the Eastbound train to Alexanderplatz.
? At Alexanderplatz walk or change to the U2 line towards Pankow.
? Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
? Leave the station through the REAR EXIT and walk in our front door.

(2) From Ostbahnhof

BUS:
? From the front of the station board Bus 240 (Robert-Koch-Platz) to Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
? Cross the street to Rosa-Luxemburg-Stra?e. Follow the street 100m to St. Christopher?s.
? Note: Bus 240 runs every 20-30 minutes until 4am.

TRAIN:
? Follow the S-Bahn signs (WHITE S in a GREEN circle).
? Board the Westbound Train
? At Alexanderplatz walk or transfer to the U2 line.
? Take the U2 line towards Pankow
? Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
? Exit opposite the driving direction of the train
? Follow the street 15m on the right to St. Christopher?s hostel.

(3) From ZOB (Central Bus Station)

UNDERGROUND:
? Walk one block down Kaiserdamm to the subway station of the same name.
? Board the U2 line towards Pankow.
? Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz station.
? Take the exit opposite to the driving direction of the train
? St. Christopher?s is located 15m up on the right hand side.

(4) From Tegel Airport

BUS:
? Board the Express bus line TXL to Alexanderplatz
? At Alexanderplatz either walk or transfer to the underground U2 line.
? Take the U2 line towards Pankow and get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
? Take the exit opposite to the driving direction of the train
? St. Christopher?s is located 15m up on the right hand side of the road.

(5) From Schönefeld Airport

TRAIN:
? Take the free shuttle bus to Schönefeld S-Bahn station.
? Board any Westbound train heading towards Alexanderplatz.
? Walk from Alexanderplatz or get on the U2 underground line towards Pankow.
? Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and take the exit opposite to the driving direction of the train.
? St. Christopher?s is located on the right hand side of the street 15m on.

(6) From Tempelhof Airport

UNDERGROUND:
? Follow the signs from the airport to the underground station Platz der Luftbrücke
? Take the U6 line towards Alt-Tegel
? Change at Stadtmitte to the U2 line towards Pankow.
? Get off at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz and take the exit opposite to the driving direction of the train.
? St. Christopher?s is located on the right hand side of the street 15 m up.

(7) Walking from Alexanderplatz
? Take the Fernsehturm exit and turn right onto the street.
? Cross over Karl-Liebknecht-Stra?e via the pedestrian tunnel.
? Walk down Münzstrae about 50m
? Turn into the first street on the right, which is Rosa-Luxemburg-Stra?e
? Walk towards the Volksbühne Theatre in front of you the street follow the street to the left.
? St. Christopher?s is located 50m up on the left.
