Hostel Description
Solna Hotel and Hostel is situated in one of Stockholms most beautiful surroundings, an area that characterizes both culture and international events. The echological park is an area with parks and cultural sights, Haga casltle , and museeums house of butterflies ?Fjärilshuset? for example. Råsunda football stadium and Solvalla trottingracetrack is just minutes away! The Naturhistoriska riksmuseet with Cosmonova, an Omnimax cinema is really worth it´s price! If you just want to do some shopping, Solna Centrum is 10 minutes away!
It's easy to find us however you choose to travel, by car, by train or by bus.
We are close to the mainroads passing through Stockholm, the E4 and E 18.
Parking facilities are free of charge. Why don?t leave the car and go by bus to the city?
In the youth hostel you can cut expenses even more, you can stay in rooms with one, two, three or four beds (bunk beds), shower and WC in the corridor. Cook your own meal in the kitchen, eat it in the diningroom or BBQ outside in the nature. We can lodge larger groups?maybe you want the privacy of your own house?
In the reception you can play pool, read magazines and rent internet.

In connection to the reception we have a restaurant with a bar and an open-air restaurant open weekdays 6-11PM, Saturdays 5-11 PM. Pick you choice from the menu, why not try the todays special?! If you are a larger group we need your order a few days in advance!

Hostel Directions
By car:
From the south: The E4 through Stockholm heading north. By Järva Krog, turn left to E18 towards Enköping and Oslo. After 1 km turn right (överskottsbolaget) and then the first road to the left.
From the north: Follow the signs E18 at Järva krog, then the same as above.
By train:
Take the commutertrain(pendeltåg) towards Märsta, get off at Ulriksdal (8 min). Bus 505 or 540 towards Vällingby, stop the bus at halt Råstahem, follow the signs. You can also take a walk from Ulriksdal, just follow the signs it will take you approx 10 min.
Subway:
To Solna centrum, bus 505 to Råstahem.
Nightbus:
From Stockholm centralstation to Råstahem bus number 591.
From Arlanda Airport:
Airportshuttle from Arlanda to Järva krog, change to bus 540 to Råstahem.
Or take a bus to Märsta commutertrain-station , hop on the train towards Stockholm, get off at Ulriksdal.
