Sleepzone ? The Burren is situated in the spa town of Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare from where it boasts close proximity to some of Ireland's most famous areas of natural beauty, including the world-renowned Cliffs of Moher, towering 200 meters above the ocean, and The Burren region ? 400sq miles of unique limestone terrain.

By car:
From Shannon Airport:
On exiting the airport take the N18 to Ennis. From Ennis take the N85 to Ennistymon and from Ennistymon take the N67 to Lisdoonvarna. Sleepzone - The Burren is on the left side approaching the town (just past the Kincora Hotel).

From Galway City:
Take the N18 southwards from Galway. In Kilcolgan take a right turn onto the N67; go through Kinvara and then on to Ballyvaughan where you turn left heading towards Lisdoonvarna. At the town square take the right turn and Sleepzone - The Burren is 100 meters up on the right hand side (just past The Burren Smokehouse). Journey of 40 miles (1 hour +).

The Galway Tour Company
If you want to incorporate a tour while travelling to the hostel contact The Galway Tour Company ( www.thegalwaytourcompany.com). Their bus departs from Sleepzone Galway every day at approx. 9.45 a.m. It does a half day tour of the Burren including a long stop at The Cliffs of Moher, before dropping guests off at Sleepzone - The Burren. If you are returning to Galway you can pick up the tour from the Sleepzone - The Burren at approx. 2.30 p.m. daily, completing the remainder of the tour before returning to Galway at approx. 5.30 p.m. The cost of a return ticket is Eur 20.00.
