Sleeping Bag Accommodation

There are four rooms with bunks for 6 persons and two rooms with bunks. Our accommodation offers the following facilities: cooking facilities with a cooker, fridge, kettle, microwave, living room with a TV and laundry.

Accommodation in sleeping bag, bed with bed-sheet and pillow, including unlimited usage of the above mentioned equipment. It is possible to get breakfast which has to be ordered in advance. It is also possible to get lunch and dinner.

Draflastadir is 25 km from Akureyri. From Akureyri you drive on the road number 1 up the mountain Vikurskard and just after getting down you turn left onto the road number 834. From there you drive another 5 km to Draflastadir (look at the map further down on this page). Those who come by bus from the company SBA-Norðurleið can ask for pick up at the road number 834. This service is free and has to be ordered beforehand.
