Ballinskelligs is a Gaeltacht (where Irish is spoken) situated just off the Ring of Kerry road, between Caherciveen and Waterville, on the Iveragh Peninsula.

Just off the Skellig Ring, "A Secret Ring off The Ring of Kerry", the Hostel is the ideal place to stay when exploring this most beautiful, hidden part of Ireland's rugged coast.

From Kerry Airport, one hour drive to Caherciveen nearest town to Hostel. 4km outside of Caherciveen on the Waterville road, take 2nd right hand turn at signpost to Ballinskelligs village. At turn for Ballinskelligs beach, stay on main road and at next sharp corner go straight up hill. Hostel 4th on left.From Tralee and Killarney (train and bus) take N70 to Killorglin then take same directions as above.
