Why hostel Placida?
Hostel Placida (200 meters sq.) + (130 meters sq.) plus apartments (58 meters sq.) is the first hostel in the city and through the years we have gained great experience working with world travellers and have also met great people. In our hostel we offer you 28 beds in spacious and colored rooms, (pink, orange, normal and two en-suite rooms, separated from the hostel, on the first floor in same building and two apartments are a 2 minute walk from the hostel.

The reception and hostel is on the 2nd floor of the same building on the 4th floor you have cheap internet access and a den international phone card, en-suite rooms are new and renovated and rest of the rooms are getting better day by day. We are sure that you are not going to find bigger or more spacious rooms anywhere else (but one double room which is not as big as the others.)

For people who want more than just a room and who would like to experience a little bit of adventure we organize rafting and on the beautiful river Cetina amongst the nature.
Apartments are separate from the hostel and also located just a 2-5 minutes walk from away. They have air-conditioning and satellite TV.

En-suite rooms are located in the same rooms on the 1st floor, newly renovated with fridge, air-conditioning and cable TV.

In our hostel we offer a hall, terrace for laundry, fridge and cooker (for cooking tea or coffee.)

If you are passionate about ancient cultures, you should know that our hostel is located just 2 minutes from Diocletian?s palace, Unesco's protected 1700 years old Roman monument.

The hostel is ready to help you with everything you need and also recommend where you can go to have a great time to eat, drink and have fun depending on your preferences with explanations on the city map.

Hostel:

If you are coming by car we will help you to find parking place close to the hostel in a safe place where you don't have to pay.
If you arrive by plane we can arrange on demand a taxi from the airport that will cost 37 euros.

Checking out is 10 am.
Check in is at 11:30am.
Luggage storage can be provided after 10 am.

The cancellation must be made 24 hours before the day of the arrival.
Please be aware that if you have a ?no-show? without advising us before this time, we will have to charge your credit for the first night of your booking.

Airport is 25 kilometers away from center.If you coming by train, bus or ferry, you need to walk 5 minutes to the Palace.
City is small and easy and best for you that ask somebody where is Mcdonalds,National Theatre, or main street Marmontova. When you come on the top of Marmontova (where is also MCdonalds) turn on your right side for few meters and you will see a big pink building .
Our Sign you are going to see on your left side of the building on our lunggage'sobe' and bed with three stars,come inside and go upstairs and on the 1st floor you will see sign for one more floor.

If you arrive by plane you have option;
1st;we can pick up you for 37 eura by taxi from hostel.Airport is 25 kilometers away from center.
