Hostel Description
Originally a shooting lodge 16km from Cahir, this hostel is set in a lovely area of forests in the Galtee Mountains where wild deer and other animals roam. This is the 2nd of our gaslit hostels. The entire area has a wealth of attractions like the Rock of Cashel, Swiss Cottage and Mitchelstown Caves.

We do not accept bookings for more then 10 people. Any such booking will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.

Bus Eireann: From Cork, Athlone or Dublin - Cork services. Alight at the gate of the youth hostel, which is half-way between Cahir and Mitchelstown. The youth hostel is 2km from the road.
