Mandragora hostel is a small, unique place located behind the national museum, close to the main downtown tracks, main market hall, Gellért thermal bath and the museum of applied arts. We are situated between two metro lines.

The vicinity is full of the best cafes, bars and restaurants like the WB, Kultiplex...etc., however, it's a tranquil pedestrian area. Other advantages of the neighborhood are: supermarkets, grocers, pharmacies and a post office.

We provide you with free breakfast, broadband internet all day, current information on
hot spots, programs(for example English language movies and events) plus we can help you to set up anything you are interested in (car, mobile, flat rental, travel information, books, visa, etc.)

There are two dormitories and a private room:

Mush room:
Enchanting Indian-arabesque milieu, ideal for individuals and couples ? will accommodate up to 8 people.

Tara room:
There is no way to peace ? ?peace is the way" - clear and bright, you can rest and free your mind after the city hustle! Sorry, no groups please, we accept a maximum of 4 people per booking!

Domino double room:
Separate room, best for couples (you are welcome to bring you?re baby.)

From Ferihegy airport: take airport bus to Kobánya Kispest, then metro (blue line) to Kálvin square, find the left exit to Baross street, walk to Mikszáth square and straight ahead to Krúdy street 12. You will find us after a church on the left side.
From Nyugati railway station take tram 4 or 6 (direction Blaha Lujza), the 6th stop is Baross street, go back 20 meters and find Krúdy street (at a sculpture of a boy with dog :)).
From Keleti railway station take bus 7 or metro (red line) to Blaha Lujza square, change to tram 4 or 6 and go to Baross street, go back 20 meters and find Krúdy street.

IMPORTANT WARNING!
If you`re arriving by train please be prepared to meet some hustlers at the railway stations (and on the trains from Vienna). They work for a few big hostels; usually they assure you, that small hostels like ours are very bad, or do not even exist. Please be tough and try us first, You won't be disappointed!
