Hostel Description

"Here we are, in one of the most lovely places we have visited so far..." That is the spontaneous reaction of many of our tourists. Indeed, Hvar is the most popular island in Croatia.
Our Guest house is within the pedestrian area called "GLAVICA", placed on the hill above the harbour, from where it offers the view partially to the historical center and partially to the sea and neighbouring islands. Our property is surrounded by gardens - accessible from downtown by walking (front door), and also by car via one way street (back door)

The View from our house to the port and to the neighbouring islands, and far away to the island Vis.
From our big terrace you can keep an eye on your yacht - whether small or big.

Our centennial house is made of stone in typical Mediterranean style. Beside is a big terrace equipped with tables and chairs and an extra summer kitchen.

If you enjoy been among people, here you will meet many of them who come from all over the world. As you can see, here we have lots of fun ! And in the city, you can find a variety of entertainment - It's up to you to make the best of it.

Once you arrived in town of Hvar there are two ways to find our house:
a.) At Hvar harbor: When you get off the boat, just go left along the harbor about 90 meters till the Pizzeria MAMA LEONA and another 20 meters till Caffe SANTA BARBARA. There you turn right and go along side the SPLITSKA BANKA few steps up, till you reach a narrow street, where on the left you will see the restaurant JUNIOR, and after few meters you see steep steps going up. There you go straight up the hill (about 90 meters), first passing JAZZ bar on your left, then 2 small streets on your right and at the 3rd turning (at small plateau) you finally turn right. There continue going up, and soon when the street forks, keep left. There you ask for konoba KACI. Next to it is our house LUKA ZAKARIA with a gate.

b.) You arrive at the bus station in Hvar, (a final stop after the bus ride from STARI GRAD!)When you get off the bus, go to the main plaza (square), some 50 meters, until you reach the big church. There you go left passing the main entrance of the church, at the church corner turn left through a narrow lane, after 20 meters take the first right up steps, and after some 15 meters you face the konoba LUVIJI, pass this restaurant corner keeping on the right side, and climb another set of steps above one boat and around a big olive tree. (There you arrive at the third parallel street after the church) . Now turn left, and after just 10 meters look on your right. Here are steps going up, which lead you straight to our house (at the top of the steps). There you ask for Konoba KACI. Prior to it is our house LUKA ZAKARIA - and here you are in front of our gate.

Keep in mind that our house is within the pedestrian area (walking up the hill) and,
if you cross the street- you have already passed our house!
