Hostel Description
Our hostel is a late Victorian period house (once owned by the 1st cousin of W.B.Yeats!) and is situated in a convenient location that is close to any facilities you may need and only a few minutes walk from the tourist office and town centre.
The hostel has been totally revamped to better serve your needs and give you an even better experience, you are sure to meet many friendly people during your stay.
We do not have a curfew so you can come and go when you need to. Our hostel has a spacious dining room and a superb new self-catering kitchen. We offer dorms, family rooms and private rooms. We also have a TV lounge and free private car park. Some rooms have mountain views.
We do have some camping space too.
Please note reception closes at 10pm.
Reception is also closed between midday and 4pm unless your make prior arrangements with us.

Hostel Directions
From Dublin/Galway/Ballina - take the first exit from the dual carriageway, as you approach Sligo, its signposted Carraroe, Dromahair, Oakfields. Take the second exit off the roundabout, proceed through the first set of traffic lights and just before the second set of traffic lights and opposite the Esso petrol station, turn left. Our sign is there. Take next right and there we are!
From the North - follow Dublin signs and take left hand Caltragh exit from dual carriageway. Take first left and second exit from the roundabout. Follow road to the end and at the T junction turn left and almost immediately right. Bear left and take first left turn. We are in front of you.
From bus station - Come out of the station and turn left. Go to the second set of traffic lights and turn right. Proceed up hill, past the Cathedral, past the tourist office, through the traffic lights and, at the next set of traffic lights (yellow Christie's Supermarket on your left) turn right (our sign is there). Turn first right and we are in front of you! We can sometimes come and pick you up. Give us a call (number on booking confirmation).
