Lonely Planet:
This friendly, familial and fun Hostel is well positioned for access to all kinds of bars, cafes, restaurants and even the U-Bahn station (Senefelder Platz). Its fairly small size creates a low-key atmosphere where cultural and language barriers melt faster than snow in the saharah. The homely kitchen (with dishwasher!), retro lounge and idyllic back garden are all fabulous conversation corners. Dorms and private rooms are bright with bold colours and pine beds.

Let´s go:
A large kitchen and a courtyard with picnic tables, make this Hostel a friendly backpacker destination.

The EastSeven Berlin Hostel, which opened in 2005, rents the best cheap beds in Prenzlauer Berg. It`s sleek and modern, with all the hostel services and more: inviting lounge, fully equipped guest`s kitchen, lockers, garden and bike rental. Children are welcome. Easygoing people of any age are comfortable here.

Easy to reach from all Airports and Train stations (U2 - Senefelder Platz), we are situated in the heart of Central Berlin - surrounded by cafés, restaurants, theatres, nightlife and of course lots of shops (Kastanienallee, Kollwitz Platz etc.). The Main cultural attractions (Museum Island, Alexander Platz/TV Tower, etc.) are within walking distance.

Its the ideal place for travellers seeking the true spirit of Berlin. Relax in our beautiful garden after strolling around lively Prenzlauer Berg and Mitte. Staying with us puts you right in the centre of these vibrant districts with its exciting sights.

This fairly new hostel offers plenty of private rooms (single/ double/ tripple/ quad) and small dorms (max. 8 people)!!
Spacious bathrooms with strong + hot showers 24h, are provided on every floor, the big selfcatering kitchen and our lounge are located in the cosy garden-house.

We charge ONCE 3,00 Euro per guest for the bed sheets. This is obligatory for sanatory reasons and we kindly ask for your understanding.

Head for the central station of Alexanderplatz. If you arrive by overland bus, train or plane to Berlin you take direct public transport to Alexanderplatz. Then take the U2 subway line in the direction of Pankow for two stations. At Senefelder Platz you get off and walk down Schwedter Straße. After some 80 meters you`ll find the us on your right. A taxi will cost you between 10 Euro (from Ostbahnhof) and 35 Euro (from Schönefeld). By car, you also head for central Alexander-platz. Travel north along Schönhauser Allee and turn off left into Schwedter Str. The EastSeven will show up on your right after 80m.

Mit der S-Bahn zum Alexanderplatz und dann mit der U2 (U- Bahn) in Richtung 'Pankow. An der 2. Haltestelle (Senefelder Platz) aussteigen. Die Schwedter Str. neben der Apotheke reinlaufen - das Hostel liegt nach ca. 100m auf der rechten Seite (Nr.7).

Von allen Flughäfen und vom Zentralen Omnibus Bahnhof (ZOB):
Erst zum Alexander Platz und dann mit der U2 (U- Bahn) in Richtung 'Pankow. An der 2. Haltestelle (Senefelder Platz) aussteigen. Die Schwedter Str. neben der Apotheke einbiegen - das Hostel liegt nach ca. 100m auf der rechten Seite (Nr.7).
