Originally built in 1908 for Quaker hierarchy management at the world famous York Rowntrees chocolate factory (now owned by Nestle), this fine example of a Victorian town house was recently refurbished and decorated sympathetically to the original Victorian decor and theme by the present owners.

By Train, short taxi ride or 20 min walk or number 11 buses and ask for Southlands Chapel.
By Car, A64 then A1036 to Bishopthorpe and racecourse, past the racecourse, take the right turn into Scarcroft road then right into Russell Street, to the top then left into Southlands Road.
