Hostel Description
The hostel and shared self-catering units are most suited to those with there own transport, especially couples and families.
Rooms cater for 2 to 6 persons.
Note:
It is possible for 2 persons to book a larger family room if the double is not available.
A discount is allowed at check in. i.e. you would pay the normal balance that you would when booking a double room.

Clare's Rock Hostel is an IHH member and is Failte Ireland approved.
The Hostel is open from May 27th to September 30th for walk in customers but can be pre-booked outside of these dates. Adult groups are catered for all year round.
Private en-suite rooms with shared self catering are available year round excluding Christmas period but must be pre-booked out of season.

Hostel Directions
Clare's Rock Hostel is located in the heart of the famous Burren region of county Clare.
It is only a 50 minute drive from Shannon airport.
From Shannon airport you drive towards Ennis/Glaway. Just before Ennis you turn left at roundabout and follow signs for Lehinch/Ennistymon/Inagh road. Take this road for about 1 mile to turnoff for Corofin on your right. Go through Corofin village and turn right after 4 miles at Leminagh castle. Drive 1.5 miles and turn right at sig for Carron/Carran. Hostel is 3 miles on Left just before Cassidy's pub/restaurant.
From Galway.
Take main road towards Limerick and turn right near the end of the street in Kilcolgan. Follow road to Kinvara and go through village. 2 OR 3 miles out turn left UP THE HILL.Carron/Carran is 8 miles straight ahead. Hostel is on right 150 metres past Cassidy's pub/restaurant.
