Hostel Description
Claddagh Hostel in located Galway City centre just 1 minute walk from the train and bus station.
It is just off Eyre Square and there are no noisy bars near us which guarantees you a great sleep.
Its a great place to meet the other backpackers who are traveling throughout Ireland. Unlike other large hostels scattered throughout Galway, The Claddagh Hostel has only 40 beds so it is much more interactive. The staff here are some of the friendliest in Galway and are happy to answer any questions that you might have.
You can collect your free towel at check with hot showers 24 hours a day.
INTERNET and WI-FI is FREE all day at Claddagh Hostel.
We sell the cheapest tickets in Galway for the Connemara Tour, Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. The bus leave in the morning just 50 meters from the hostel.
We have a self catering kitchen for the budget conscious with free tea and coffee all day long, a dinning/living room with a TV and DVD player with over 100 DVD's to choose from. We also have a number of board games to choose from.
If you are moving to Galway we can assist you in finding permanent accommodation as well as helping you to get your SOCIAL SECURITY ( PPS ) NUMBER which you will need f you are working in Ireland. We can also provide you with a letter to set up BANK ACCOUNT. We have there 10 bed dorms as well as five twin rooms. Our twin rooms are very small and have bunk beds inside.
Reception is open from 8:00 until 23:00 (closed 11 o'clock at night ) and payment can be made by cash only on arrival.
We have ?7.00 CAR PARKING available just 10 meters from the hostel.
Special Weekly Rates is only ?80.00 and includes breakfast and free Internet and free WI-FI ( book your first night online and ask for details at reception on arrival ).

Hostel Directions
From the Bus/Train Station. Take your first left as you leave the train station. Walk 50 meters to the corner of Eyre Square and take another left. Walk 50 meters down the street and we are located in fornt of The Victoria Hotel.
