Hostel Description
City Hotel Portus offers to all young at heart reasonable, comfortable and always clean hotel rooms, healthy food, and extra services in a friendly and cozy environment. Other touches include a fun interior, free internet terminal in lobby, non-smoking rooms, allergic rooms and Café Retro which seats 80.
City Hotel Portus has 107 guest rooms on 4 floors, including 12 rooms with sofa that can be used as an extra bed if needed, six family rooms and seven rooms with connecting door. All rooms include satellite TV, telephone with a direct line, cork floors, shower and toilet, free wireless internet coverage. We also have non-smoking rooms, as well as special rooms for handicapped people and allergy sufferers.
For casual dining try our Café Retro on the ground floor. Café can seat up to 80, and in the mornings, serves the Buffet Breakfast.
Rock and retro is a theme used in designing our café. Theme has been used as it is understandable to everybody regardless the age. This language brings together millions of people all over the world and it takes you back to the careless times of the seventies and eighties when there was still some naivety and time left to do things just for fun.
Bar:Our Bar is open for drinks, cocktails and light snacks until late at night.
Terrace: The evening begins and ends at our summer terrace of Café Retro, which serves healthy food and delicious cocktails till the sunset.
Meeting Rooms
The fifth floor of City Hotel Portus accommodates a multi-functional seminar centre with three halls of various sizes. The biggest hall seats 100 people. All rooms can be combined into one by removing partition walls. That makes the seminar centre an excellent place for organizing memorable receptions for a maximum of 200 people. As a bonus, the rooms present a wonderful sea view.
For coffee breaks, we offer a wide range of snacks and group menus. Participants can have lunch and dinner in the seminar centre or in Café Retro on the ground floor.
The seminar centre is equipped with modern technology, and our experienced staff always does it best to achieve the desired result in cooperation with our clients.
Sauna
On the 5th floor there is a modern sauna where our clients can enjoy a Finnish sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi. The sauna has a party room for 15 people, equipped with a bar, music centre, TV, and fridge. Both the sauna and the party room give a marvelous view of Tallinn?s Old Town. To make your sauna or party night even more perfect, we offer a wide selection of snacks and drinks.
