Hostel Description
We are very close to the Town Centre, Port of Dover, Channel Tunnel and Cruise terminal. For the visitor we offer one of the most convenient positions within a Conservation Area of Dover where they can visit Dover Castle and the many other local heritage sites.
We have ample off Street parking available, or we have a lockup garage for an additional charge.

The town of Dover is situated at the south east corner of England and has the distinction of being the nearest town on the British mainland to the coast of France, the strip of sea called the 'The Straits of Dover' the 'Pas de Calais' as the French term being just 21 miles wide.
On clear day's the French coast is clearly seen from Dover, Wordsworth's reflection said "And saw, while sea was calm and air was clear the coast of France! the coast of France how near!"
The town is on the shore of a bay which has a pebbly beach and is backed by the 'White Cliffs of Dover'.
Dover is in the county of Kent which is also known as 'The Garden of England', it's sparkling coastline is never far away with safe beaches, magnificent cliffs, wildlife havens and many miles of breathtaking sea views and walks along it's coast line.
You will find historic places, un-spoilt countryside, wooded valleys, tranquil villages, golf courses and lots more. You can soak up the sun on Kent's safe beaches, or enjoy a day visiting one of the many heritage sites in Dover or nearby Canterbury with it's magnificent Cathedral.
Just a short distance from Castle Guest House is the world famous Dover Castle, perched high above on the White Cliffs the castle is the "Key of England" and has 2,000 years of history within its walls. See the newly opened field hospital level in the secret wartime tunnels complex.

Castle Guest House is situated below Dover Castle on the A258.
Approaching Dover on the A20: Proceed through Four Roundabouts and turn left at the traffic lights just past a BP Petrol Station then take the first Right into Castle Hill Road.
Approaching from the A2: Turn right at the Roundabout by the Duke Of York public House at the top of Jubilee Way drive straight on past the Castle and straight down the hill which is Castle Hill we are at the bottom on the Left.
