Kylemore Abbey and The Connemara National Park are a short driving distance from the hotel. Inisbofin and the Aran Island Ferries are only 40 minutes from the Hotel. Horse riding, fishing, pitch & putt and golf are all available locally.

Hostel Directions
Take the N59 (main Galway/Clifden) road from Galway through Moycullen, Oughterard as far as Recess. At Recess turn left for Carna.

Take the Coast Road the R336 from Galway through Barna, Spiddal, Inverin as fas as Costello where you turn right, continue on this road until you come to the crossroads at Screeb then turn left onto the R340. Continue on this road until you reach Carna.
