1/You need to take the train IC-IR direction 'Oostende' or 'Knokke' (=coast), which stops first in Gent and the 2nd stop is Bruges. There are 2 trains every hour.
2/When you arrive in Bruges, you can either walk through the centre (25'), take a taxi (10') or take bus 6 or 16 just in front of the station (ask the driver for Bauhaus). Tickets on the bus.
By Car or Coach:
Coming from CALAIS and DUNKERQUE (Ferries) to Bruges
1/Take exit 7 on the E40 Highway, take N397, follow Brugge and pass 2 roundabouts,
2/Keep right and drive under the railway bridge and continue to the right and follow Maldegem-ring,
3/You will pass the station on your right and you continue the road over the bridge,
4/at the 3rd Gate on your left
'Kruispoort', you take the left lane of the road and you turn left Over the canal and go through the old city gate. You are now in the Langestraat and the reception is at n°135 on the right side of the street.
Coming from BRUSSELS or GHENT on the E40
1/Take exit 9 'Oostkamp', follow Brugge,
2/after 10' drive you will arrive at the 'Katelijnepoort' intersection with traffic lights, you need to go right on the Maldegem-ring,
3/you will pass the 'Gentpoort' on your left and the second gate is the 'Kruispoort', where you take the left lane of the road and you turn left and go through the old city gate. You are now in the Langestraat and the reception is at n°135 on the right side of the street.
Coming from Paris-Lille-Kortijk
1/Follow the Expressroad N31, straight on and pass 1 traffic light,
2/Take exit 8, follow 'Brugge' straight on and pass 2 roundabouts,
3/Keep right and drive under the railway bridge and continue to the right and follow Maldegem-ring,
4/You will pass the station on your right and you continue the road over the bridge,
5/at the 3rd Gate on your left
