Avalon is a privately owned non-smoking Guest House, situated some 300 yards from Tolcarne and Great Western beaches. It has six en-suite bedrooms and private parking, and offers a very comfortable break.

The proprietors are Janet Partner and Rick Blakeney who extend a warm welcome to all of their guests. We are situated 500 yards from Newquay Railway Station for those visitors without cars, and most bus services are close by. Newquay Airport is only 7 miles away and Avalon offers a reasonably priced ferry service. The town centre is only about half a mile away and boasts lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Newquay's Harbour and famous Fistral Beach are all within walking distance.

The Galahad Room
A large double / twin room with its own balcony. A spacious ensuite TV and tea making facilities.

The Perceval Room
A comfortable double / twin room with a spacious ensuite. TV and tea making facilities.


The Launcelot Room
A large double room with a spacious bathroom including bath and shower. TV and tea making facilities.

The Bedivere Room
A double / twin room with a spacious ensuite. TV and tea making facilities.

The Gawain Room
A large family room can sleep up to four people. Bathroom. TV and tea making facilities.

The Tristan Room
This twin/double room can sleep up to four people, and has an ensuite bathroom, TV and tea making facilities

Booking Terms and Conditions

Deposit
A deposit of £25 per person per week is required to secure a booking. This may be made by Cheque/Postal Order. Payment for accommodation should be made on arrival or within 24 hours of arrival.

Rooms are available from 2.00pm on the day of arrival. Luggage may be left earlier if required. Rooms should be vacated by
10.00am on the day of departure.

Please Note: All bedrooms are no smoking.

We regret that no allowances can be made for rooms not occupied, or meals not taken during the period of the booking.

Breakfast 8.45 - 9.30 am

Holiday Cancellation
Deposits are non-refundable upon cancellation unless covered by Holiday Insurance.

In the event of cancellation of your booking we will make every effort to re-let the accommodation. However if we are unable to do so, you may be charged the total cost of your booking.

All cancellations should be made by telephone, followed by a written confirmation of cancellation.

By road from Bodmin (A30) to Quintrell Downs, at roundabout turn right (A3058) signposted to St Columb Minor, Newquay, Porth.

Upon reaching Newquay you will meet two mini-roundabouts, continue ahead on the A3058 for roughly a mile and turn left at the Edgcliff Club on the corner of Edgcumbe Avenue, then take the first left into Edgcumbe Gardens. Our Guesthouse is then located 100 yards on your left.
