It's a place in which to relax, chill out and enjoy the views. Or if you are feeling energetic, climb Ben Mor Coigach - start just a few minutes walk away. Take a cruise to the Summer Isles (daily - except Sundays), a haven for seals and seabirds, and spend time exploring an uninhabited island. The local hotel also offers superb seafood.

By Car:

Turn off the A835 Ullapool - Ledmore road at Drumrunie. Follow signs for Achiltibuie. Continue through Achiltibuie, Polglass, and Badenscallie. Hostel car park is roughly 300 yds beyond Badenscallie.

On Foot:

The 'Postie's Path' or 'Rock Route' from Blughasary is NOT RECOMMENDED due to serious path degradation. Other hill routes can be taken by experienced walkers, notably over Ben Mor Coigach.
